David W. Karr is the Chairman of Equitable Advisors and a member of the Equitable Operating Committee. He leads a highly trained and experienced team of financial professionals in leveraging the global reach of Equitable Advisors to provide clients with wealth management, insurance, estate and wealth transfer, and executive and corporate benefits services.

Previously, Mr. Karr served as Managing Director and Co-President of Karr Barth Associates, Inc., Equitable Advisors’ Philadelphia branch. In that role, Mr. Karr was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization. He has deep expertise in wealth management, executive benefit programs, digital tools and talent development.

Mr. Karr’s numerous professional designations and credentials include the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter.

He graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
