Yun (Julia) Zhang is group Treasurer of Equitable Holdings (NYSE: EQH) and a member of the Equitable Operating Committee.  

Ms. Zhang oversees the company’s capital and liquidity management, dividend and funding strategy, and banking and rating agency relationships. She also serves as a director and Chief Financial Officer for multiple EQH subsidiaries and acts as a steering committee member of the company’s Capital and Liquidity, Hedging, Investment and Risk Committees. 

Previously, Ms. Zhang was the Treasurer of Equitable Financial Life, where she was instrumental in developing the company’s capital management strategy and ensuring balance sheet strength. She began her career with the company in 2007 on the derivatives and hedging team. 

Ms. Zhang holds a degree in statistics and finance from the University of Science and Technology of China and a master’s degree in mathematics in finance from Columbia University.

She has been a fellow of Society of Actuaries since 2010 and was recognized as one of the “Top 30 under 30” by Actuarial Magazine in 2013. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
